Strategy Formulation and Implementation

This case discussion course focuses on general management problems from the point of view of the chief executive officer. An integrated, time oriented, management view of the firm in its environment is presented as key to strategy development and implementation. The course examines the use of formal and informal organization structure and systems by top management to translate strategy into performance while continually adapting to a changing environment. Prerequisites: COMM 5305 & 5405, or COMM 5505 Students cannot retain credits for both COMM 6005 and MGMT 5145.
