Indignenous Perspective on Food

This course explores the food systems that sustained Indigenous communities historically and how these systems have been impacted by colonization, technological developments and other societal forces. Ways in which traditional Indigenous knowledge can inform solutions to issues of food access and related health issues are considered. Prereq.: Minimum 18 University credits (lec. 3) cr 3
